Combined, for nearly 25 years, Mike Parsels held senior level land acquisition and development positions for national builders including Toll Brothers, Sunrise Senior Living, Ryan Homes and NVHomes.
Mike brings extensive knowledge and skills to Fraser Forbes. Early in his career, Mike directed acquisitions and development at Sunrise Senior Living in New York. Later he held this position at Sunrise in Maryland and Virginia. In 10 years, Mike managed $500 million in ground-up development for Sunrise.
For nearly 15 years, Mike directed growth for large, public home builders Toll Brothers, Ryan Homes, NV Homes acquiring nearly 3,500 residential lots including several high-profile properties. Mike’s Toll Brothers team secured the winning bid to acquire the 75-acre WMAL Radio Tower site in North Bethesda – among the all-time highest-priced land acquisitions in Maryland – as well as the Hanson farm located in North Potomac – one of the last Montgomery County farms suited for large, high-end residential development (186 lots with homes averaging $1.5 million).
